Startup developer Poorly Timed Video games, which is headed up by Future veteran Chris Wright, has introduced its first recreation: Grim Tranquility, an isometric-view roguelite tactical RPG that is coming quickly to PC by way of Steam.
In Grim Tranquility, the story goes that humanity has exhausted the earth of habitability, and so folks should enterprise out into house and discover a new dwelling someplace within the stars. Naturally, a hostile alien empire they encounter is not too eager on permitting that to occur, and battle ensues. Local weather change, bureaucratic corruption, and environmental injury gas the story and Grim Tranquility’s procedural gameplay. Poorly Timed Video games says you can “improve primitive Earth weapons, recruit new members with enhanced skills, and affect alien officers with bribes for helpful buffs or overthrow them in excessive stakes boss battles.”
Poorly Timed relies out of Redmond, Washington, and boasts a various group of builders. Wishlist Grim Tranquility on Steam and search for extra on it at PAX West this weekend.
